A nature reserve in a mountainous setting provides a beautiful green scenery, ideal for the mountain biker.  The altitude metres are the decisive factor here, as there are hundreds of kilometres of off-road tracks between 800 m and 1700 m altitude.

  This protected nature reserve in a mountainous setting provides the ideal environment for wonderful hikes.  Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hiker, whether you want to take it easy and walk a few kilometres or go for a full day hike, everything is possible here.  The nature lover will certainly enjoy the views and healthy air, but also the fauna and flora.   This is an area with a large population of griffon vultures, but also the bee-eater, eagle, hoopoe, wild boar, fox, ibex, etc. can be spotted with some luck.

 For this we also suggest the Wikiloc app (see Mountain biking).  An abundance of hikes are already preprogrammed.  Just create an account and you can leave without worries..

  For the riders and amazons among you, we can provide outdoor rides for which we cooperate with a riding school in Caniles.  A 3-hour ride through the "Sierra de Baza" nature park will take your breath away.  We take care of the transport so you can enjoy the local fauna and flora carefree.   Only for advanced riders who have mastered the canter and are not afraid of a small jump.  It is also possible to make shorter trips, according to your wishes.

  For the real adventurers who like the heavier stuff, we can provide motorbike rides.  These are mainly off-road on a KTM (300 to 500).  For those with a driving licence, it can be done on a guided track, for the others there is private land.  Possibility of a half or full day.  Everything is provided for you, from equipment to petrol! You will of course be brought and also picked up afterwards.

  Padel is a mix of tennis and squash, for 2 or 4 players.  The court is a small tennis court (10mx20m) usually made of artificial grass with walls around it, which can be used just like squash.  The game is played with a "perforated" racket and a tennis ball.  Anyone with a little "ball feeling" can play Padel.  There are 2 courts in Vélez-Rubio and one in Chirivel.   We can reserve one for you.  It is a very fun activity and cheap, from 3 euros pp. (rackets rental included, for 1h30min).  We have a set of rackets for 4 people, so renting is not necessary.

  The nearest golf course is in Lorca (30min) and is a beautifully designed 18h golf course.  You can play golf there at democratic prices.  Both the beginning and the advanced golfer will find what they are looking for.  You can rent all necessary equipment.
